About Us

Thank You so much for checking out our work! To the left, you will see some of the most important people and things in our life.

We have two locations. Our Oxford, MS office is located at beautiful Timber Lake in Oxford, MS. We cater to all of Central and Northern Mississippi and southwestern Tennessee, including the greater Memphis area.

Our original office is on Nutwood Street in Bowling Green, KY. Our coverage here includes all of Kentucky from Mayfield to Bowling Green to Louisville and Lexington.

With both locations, there are no travel fees to the surrounding states. That means if you live in Ohio or Alabama, Illinois or Arkansas, Tennessee or Florida, it will not cost you any extra to have us at your wedding. In fact, most of our weddings are split equally within several different states and countries.

So what are we about? Simply, emotion. I don't want to just take pretty pictures...I want to evoke a feeling the way a cool breeze in fall can take you back to your childhood. I want you to be able to look at a photo 40 years after your wedding and feel it as if it were yesterday. I could sit here and classify my wedding photography as documentary or traditional, but that's not what I'm about. I want you to be the one to classify it, and more importantly, I want you to feel it.

I get asked all of the time, "What all do you shoot at weddings?" The answer to that is EVERYTHING! You spent a lot of money on those napkins, earrings, and aisle runners. If it has anything to do with your wedding, I want to take a photo of it. Twenty years from now, you wont have that cake, and you wont have those flowers, but if I do my job right, you will see what they looked like, and again be able to feel your wedding day all over again.

Please enjoy my photos and let me know if you need anything at all!

Joshua McCoy - Primary Still Shooter

Joshua's roots in photography began at a very young age as he watched his father shoot everything from flowers in the yard to local sports teams.  By the age of 14, Joshua had fallen in love with the experience of documenting the world around him. At the age of 17, Joshua was invited to work first as an assistant and a second shooter for David Celaya of Wells Studio in Mayfield, Ky. David taught Joshua the aspects of lighting and technique, but more importantly he showed him how to be a person first and a photographer second.  Joshua studied under David while he attended Murray State University and Western Kentucky University. Graduating with a bachelor's degree in photojournalism in 2004 from WKU, Joshua began a small photography business. Since then, Joshua McCoy Photography has grown to approximately 45 weddings per year, in addition to hundreds of portrait sessions. Over the past eight years, Joshua has also worked for The Bowling Green Daily News, The Burlington Hawkeye, The Mayfield Messenger and The Murray Ledger and Times. In August of 2012, Joshua accepted a position shooting SEC sports at the University of Mississippi. He also is an adjunct professor at the school.

We also have three other shooters, several wedding planners, videographers, caterers, dj's, and florists. If yoe need help with any vendor, let me know and i can get you a discount with them.
